Risk Management Team
The Risk Management team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security and financial stability of LBT. They identify, assess and mitigate potential risks that could impact operations, employees, customers and assets. Their responsibilities include managing insurance programs, handling claims, promoting workplace safety, supporting emergency preparedness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. By proactively addressing risks, they help keep services running smoothly and safeguard the well-being of everyone who relies on our transit system.

Environmental, Health and Safety Team
The Environmental, Health, and Safety team maintains the safety of employees and the communities we serve. Their team of safety professionals ensure regulatory compliance with several agencies including the Federal Transit Administration, Cal/OSHA, and the California Highway Patrol. They also collaborate with other departments to provide the training and development required to uphold LBT’s safety standards and strategic priorities, including Bus Operators and Maintenance employees.
