Walkers
There’s no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. Our Fundraising Specialists are ready to help with great ideas
Teams
Thousands of teams every year band together for the fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition of raising money as a squad. In fact, teams of 2 or more walkers are responsible for over 65% of the millions raised for APLA Health and other organizations.
Star Walkers
Setting a goal to raise $1,000 makes you shine. Reaching that goal makes you a Star. Our Star Walkers get the star treatment, with perks to help you reach your goal and special recognition for hitting your mark.
Virtual Walkers
Can’t be there in person? You can still raise money and show your compassion and support. Virtual Walkers are encouraged to wear a red ribbon on Walk day and recruit others to join in their virtual walk campaign.
WHY WE WALK
We’ve made progress but we’re not done yet. AIDS Walk Los Angeles is our platform to bring together communities, educate and bring awareness to the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Los Angeles County, reduce stigma, and end the epidemic once and for all.
We walk for the 34 years of history and progress behind us and for the work that still lies ahead. We walk for those who no longer can. We walk for the loudest of voices, and the voiceless among us. We walk for a city. We walk for a nation. We walk with you.
