Meet the Service Planning Team!

The Service Planning Team are the masterminds behind the development of three major service changes each year, when LBT refines and enhances LBT’s routes, schedules, and overall service while keeping sustainability, convenience, and accessibility at the forefront of what we do.

They carefully plan for the present and future, to ensure there is enough service to meet the demand of our customers in the most creative and effective way possible. This includes an in-depth review of LBT’s service area, service performance, service types, service frequency, and service hours. Each service change is considered an opportunity to enhance safety, service quality, and the customer experience while optimizing operational efficiency. 

The Service Planning Team is a dynamic mix of experts in planning, scheduling, and advanced geographic information systems (GIS)/intelligent transportation systems (ITS) technology, who all work together to keep our service running smoothly. They collaborate with other departments, especially in Transit Service Delivery, making sure service aligns with federal regulations while working to provide the best possible experience for LBT’s internal and external customers.
